About Me

After many years as an educator, I witnessed firsthand how chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation affect children, families, and the professionals who support them. I experienced the pressures placed on teachers--the constant output, the emotional labor, the responsibility of caring for others while often neglecting one's own well-being.
When I retired from the classroom, my work didn't end. It evolved.
Today, I create science-informed wellness classes and integrative experiences that help both children and adults build nervous system resilience, emotional awareness, and lasting calm.
My approach blends nervous system education, practical regulation tools, and embodied practices that support the body's natural capacity to restore balance. While Reiki is one of the modalities I use, my work extends beyond a single technique. I focus on helping individuals understand what is happening in their bodies during stress and giving them tools they can use in daily life.
As a retired educator, I bring a structured, developmentally aware lens to everything I teach--whether working with children learning emotional regulation skills, adults navigating chronic stress, or professionals experiencing burnout.
My passion now lies in creating thoughtful, evidence-informed wellness programs that bridge science with practical body-based tools people can use in everyday life. Through nervous system education and supportive practices such as breath work, mindfulness, and Reiki, I help individuals learn how to calm the body, settle the mind, and build greater emotional resilience.
When we understand what is happening in our nervous system, we gain the ability to pause, regulate, and respond more thoughtfully to life's challenges rather than reacting from stress or overwhelm. Over time, this can mean feeling less anxious, more steady in daily life, and more able to approach challenges with clarity, patience, and confidence.
Because when the nervous system feels supported, life simply begins to feel more manageable--more hopeful.
